Spin-offs of Disney movies are endless these days. Now Freeform is joining in on the fun by creating a show about Sleeping Beauty. After will mirror the plot of Rhiannon Thomas’s novel, A Wicked Thing, which is a follow-up to the Disney film. According to Deadline, the show will center around Aurora after she wakes up from her long sleep. She discovers that her family is dead and her kingdom has been stolen from her. She has to learn how to be strong and fight in order to take her kingdom back. And, of course, her prince will be by her side.
