As if we needed yet another reason to love Chris Pratt, he took it upon himself to make a bet with fellow Marvel super hero Chris Evans over who would win the Super Bowl. Pratt, who is a proud Seattle Seahawks fan, started a Twitter war with Evans who roots for the New England Patriots. The two Chris’s went head-to-head on Twitter, taunting each other’s favorite teams, ending in an epic bet.
They both agreed that if the Patriots won the game, Pratt would visit a charity dressed as his character Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy. On the other hand, if the Seahawks won, Evans would visit a children’s hospital dressed as Captain America. This “Twitter feud” between the two friends helped bring attention and generous donations to Christopher’s Haven, a charity that brings hope to children with cancer.
Although it was the New England Patriots who were named champions, everyone will end up a winner. Evans promised to join Pratt in visiting children’s hospitals in Boston and Seattle dressed as their Marvel characters. Turns out these two are real-life heroes off screen as well!
