Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan Tatum Are Getting Their Own Dance Series

What we’ve all been waiting for is finally happening: Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum are getting their own dance series!

No, this isn’t a false alarm; it’s really true. The talented duo is set to executive produce a new dance competition series on NBC that will apparently provide a “fresh take” on TV dance series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Although both of the Tatums will appear on the show, Dewan Tatum will be serving as a judge and mentor while her husband will make occasional appearances.

Neither Channing Tatum nor Jenna Dewan Tatum are new to the world of dance—we’ve all seen their talents displayed both as a unit and individually. Dewan Tatum’s dance background originates from her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and other collaborations with Pink, Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera. In 2006, she starred in the popular dance flick, Step Up, along with her now-husband.

The six-episode dance series will finally bring NBC into the business of televised dance competitions.

Interested in seeing what the Tatums’ new show may be like? Take a look at some of their best dance moments, including their most recent performance on Lip Sync Battle and the showstopping final sequence in Step Up!
