Blake Lively is in some hot water over a caption she wrote on an Instagram photo of herself at the Cannes Film Festival. Referencing Sir Mix-a-Lot’s hit “Baby Got Back,” Lively posted a side-by-side photo of her front and backside with the caption, “L.A. face with an Oakland booty.”
While Lively may have been giving props to her killer behind, many of her Instagram followers and several media outlets have pointed out that the caption could be perceived as racially insensitive. In fact, the chatter within the comments on Lively’s post are downright hostile.
We are still of the belief that Lively is a goddess, and there is no denying she looks gorg in that Versace gown. Now, can we all simmer down?
