Best News Ever: A ‘Life-Size’ Sequel with Tyra Banks Is Officially Happening

It’s official! Tyra Banks will return as Eve in the long-awaited Life-Size sequel. This momentous occasion has been 17 years in the making. 17 years?! That’s literally our entire lives minus the years we’ve spent in college. We’ve certainly aged a lot, but Tyra hasn’t.

Although we may be trying (and probably failing) to be functioning adults, it was almost impossible to hide our excitement after Tyra tweeted about the bombshell news Wednesday. Life-Size 2 will give us a chance to pretend we’re kids again, which we’re always up for.

While there’s no word about Lindsay Lohan’s involvement, Banks assured Variety the show couldn’t go on without TyTy. “There is no one else that can play Eve but me…I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve.”

Now before we get too excited, there’s a catch: The sequel’s premiere date is set for Dec. 2018 on Freeform. That’s more than 18 months away, but when you’ve waited YEARS, what’s a few more months, right?

Emphasizing the original film’s success, Tyra added, “I’m really excited about it. I think Life-Size is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult following, so I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to do for that. I think it’s going to be a blockbuster on TV.”

In the meantime, there’s an entire younger generation that needs converting before the sequel’s premiere.
