Stay calm, folks: almost two weeks after Entertainment Weekly released first look images of Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast, the official trailer has finally been released. Our Monday definitely became a little more magical after watching the clip of Emma Watson and Dan Stevens twirling around a ballroom as Belle and the Beast.
While some of the trailer’s moments play out almost exactly like the original animated film (Belle finding her dad in the Beast’s castle, for example), the video finally gave us glimpses of the CGI talking objects, like Ewan McGregor’s Lumiere and Ian McKellen’s Cogsworth. We even saw enough of Chip the teacup for him to completely win our hearts!
We’re not the only ones in love. Fans from all over have gone crazy about the release.
