‘The Bachelorette’: The Time Has Come To Meet Becca Kufrin’s Suitors

Bring on the men! Becca Kufrin’s suitors have arrived.

In the 30-second trailer for The Bachelorette (come on, ABC, we deserve more considering Bachelor Arie Luyendyk was the absolute WORST), Becca is seen in the quintessential opening night position, standing at the mansion’s door and greeting the 28 men who will be vying for her heart. Of course, this is The Bachelorette, so there is no shortage of attention-grabbing antics.

As the men begin to arrive, we see that they’ve apparently gotten… creative. One suitor brought two confetti guns for him, one rode in on what looks to be a bull, and another man took a mode of transportation more economical than the typical limos—a mini-van. Another contestant brought along a cardboard cutout of Arie, which resulted in Becca laughing. Arguably, the strangest suitor featured in the clip is one who shows up wearing a full chicken costume and making chicken noises. Becca said what we were all thinking: “What is happening?”

In the trailer, Becca is also seen touching upon her time on The Bachelor. “Last time I fell in love, I got my heart broken,” she says, before we’re flashed back to the scene when Arie Luyendyk proposed to Becca. Her engagement happiness was short-lived, as Arie had a change of heart and chose runner-up Lauren Burnham, whom he is now engaged to. ABC filmed Arie and Becca’s break-up in an unedited, and frankly hard-to-watch, scene that lasted about 40 minutes.

Becca’s season of The Bachelorette premieres on May 28, so tune in if you want to see what happens during Chicken Man and the other 20-something contestants’ entrances.
