‘The Bachelorette’ & ‘Game of Thrones’ Almost Had a Crossover

Remember those crossover episodes of Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and That’s So Raven on Disney Channel? They were all I ever looked forward to on school nights—kind of like the crossover episode of The Bachelorette and Game of Thrones that *almost* happened this week. It would have been interesting, to say the least, between mythical rulers and mythical love.

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay revealed in a tweet earlier this week that Game of Thrones was filmed at the same place as her fantasy suite date with Eric in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Spain. That’s called fate. It’s a shame one of the Starks didn’t stop by for dinner; I can only imagine what the conversation would’ve been like. Unfortunately, as Rachel explained, “Jon Snow exited stage left for our date.”

Sadly, filming for our two fave shows didn’t overlap. TV Guide reports that filming for GoT wrapped a month before The Bachelorette began filming Rachel’s season.

I’m still disappointed it didn’t happen, but there’s always next season.
