To the people who believe that couples formed on The Bachelor are destined for nothing other than a break-up, prepare to be proved wrong again. Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, who met and fell in love on season three of Bachelor in Paradise, have just welcomed a baby daughter!
Isabella Evelyn Bass was born just yesterday (February 15) at 1:58 p.m., according to PEOPLE, and weighs six pounds, eight ounces.
The couple has been documenting Waddell’s pregnancy journey on social media, including posting baby shower pictures back in January. And they’re not afraid to hide their emotions, either: Bass said he “cried a lot during the birth!” which is pretty heartwarming, if you ask me.
Bass has three other children (sons Nathan, Liam, and Ensley), but this is his first daughter and Waddell’s first child. Bass and Waddell’s love story began in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which seems to be a pretty special place for them: they got married there (their wedding was also televised in season four of Bachelor in Paradise), and found out that Waddell was pregnant there, too!
