‘Avengers 4’ Directors Wrap Filming By Sharing Mysterious Glowing Photo

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo continue to tease us with cryptic photos and tweets about the upcoming “Avengers 4” movie. The director brothers, who also directed the third Avengers installment, “Avengers: Infinity War,” couldn’t help but tease Marvel fans even more by sharing a mysterious glowing photo, announcing that they had officially “#wrapped” filming for the next Avengers film.

The Russos tweeted a picture of a blindingly glowing object, and fans have been studying it to find any hidden secrets that will provide some clue about the upcoming Avengers movie, according to Deadline.

What could it possibly be? A glowing set light? Captain America’s coffin (since actor Chris Evans recently announced that he is done playing Captain America)?

Who knows what it could be, but it’s definitely giving me goosebumps.

The directors have teased us in the past with other cryptic photos on social media. Back in September, the brothers released a photo of Joe Russo working on a laptop on what appears to be a movie set. The caption read, “Look hard…”

Fans looked hard indeed, with fan theories materializing and some spotting four hidden A’s on the set. Some fans even hoped to find a hidden “Avengers 4” movie poster somewhere in the background of the set.

“Avengers: Infinity War” was Marvel’s most profitable film, grossing over $2 billion worldwide, so it’s totally understandable that fans are beyond excited for the upcoming installment.

According to The Huffington Post, the post-credits scene in the “Avengers: Infinity War” gave a nod to Captain Marvel, the newest superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), played by Brie Larson. Captain Marvel will officially enter the MCU on March 8, 2019, in her self-titled film. Her film will lead us into “Avengers 4,” which is set to release on May 3, 2019.

As we await the fate of our favorite superheroes (disintegrated by Thanos or not), we’ll continue to study the Russo brothers mysterious picture, looking for clues about the next Avengers installment.
