How do I dress for a date if the guy hasn’t given me an indication of where we’re going or what we’re doing?
Leave it to men to not consider that we have to plan out our outfits! Just like the saying ‘better safe than sorry’, I always rather dress up than down…just in case. When I say dress up, I don’t mean wear your flashy club attire, but wearing a great fitting pair of jeans paired with a tailored blazer and heels is a safe look. You want to make sure you appear to ‘effortlessly’ chic and comfortable, yet sophisticated and glamorous at the same time.You do not want to look like you are trying to hard! Keep it classy, you don’t want to give the guy the wrong impression, dress in something that is appropriate and makes you feel like a million bucks…after all he is lucky to be taking you out!
