The Most Stunning Beauty Looks from 2014’s Runways

It is almost time to say goodbye to 2014, but not before we take a look back at some of the best beauty looks to grace the runway this year! Here are some of our choices from the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 runways—the makeup, hair and nails were on point. Each of these looks blew us away this year—and though some of them look better on the runway than in real life, we have a feeling that they’ll be around through 2015.

Marc Jacobs, Fall 2014

A fresh-faced look was all the rage on the runways this past year, and Marc Jacobs took it to the next level with bleached brows, too.

Altuzarra, Fall 2014

The dewy skin, the subtle touch of metallic on the lids and the fresh, natural-colored lips make for a look that translates from the catwalk to campus.

3.1 Phillip Lim, Fall 2014

Thanks to Phillip Lim, we can now feel better about running straight to class without drying our hair post-shower—who has time for that, anyway?

Diane von Furstenberg, Fall 2014

DVF makes her models look like real girls with hair pulled back into an easy bun (and we actually like that you can see a bit of frizz!) and a no-makeup makeup look that we always end up trying pretty hard to achieve.

Versace, Fall 2014

Voluminous hair, sultry makeup—what else would we expect from a Versace girl?

Pucci, Spring 2015

Tousled, glamorous locks and a doll-like complexion work perfectly for the bold, girly prints the line is known for. Vacation look, anyone?

Burberry Prorsum, Spring 2015

This look proves that all you need to look ready in the mornings is a swipe of mascara and a touch of a red lip.

Prada, Spring 2015

Thick, defined brows are having a moment this year (and we have a feeling it’ll carry through to next year, too)—paired with an exaggerated cat-eye, the focus is drawn straight to the eyes.

Calvin Klein, Spring 2015

A lesson in how to look good at the gym (and after)—a messy bun that looks as good wet as it does dry.

Dolce & Gabbana, Spring 2015

D&G consistently turns out both the fashion and beauty looks of our dreams—every collection is always so luxe, regal and aspirational, and the makeup lives up to the clothing, from the sleek cat-eye liner to the rich berry lip color.

Michael Kors, Spring 2015

For the girl-on-the-go, this loose braid is perfect for those mornings when you wake up with no time to get ready—all you need to do is throw those bedhead locks into a quick ‘do!

Roberto Cavalli, Spring 2015

Still looking for NYE makeup inspiration? Take a hint from this look, and try a smoky eye with a dash of metallics.

Rochas, Spring 2015

We could rave about this look forever—somehow, Rochas manages to combine every beauty don’t and turn them into one big do. Spidery, clumped lashes? Overdone pale blue shadow? Every aspect comes together into a cohesive look. We also love the dot of liner on the lower lash line—it helps to open the eye up and make you look more awake!

Saint Laurent, Spring 2015

We know, this one might not be so fair—after all, Cara Delevingne makes everything look good—but we’re particularly loving the juxtaposition between her messy locks and decidedly done-up face.
