Beauty Products Our Editors Loved This Week: Taylor Swift's New Perfume and more!

As collegiettes our days are very busy — we barely have time to use all the beauty products we have, never mind keep track of all the new ones hitting shelves.

Luckily, the beauty bloggers at Her Campus are here to try out some fun products and let you know which ones actually have our seal of approval! We'll answer all your questions: What makes one lip gloss better than another? Which new nail polish is worth the splurge? What does that perfume actually smell like?

This week we're testing perfumes: Taylor by Taylor Swift, Couture La La by Juicy Couture and Pink Friday NICKI MINAJ Special Edition by Nicki Minaj so that you can find the one that is the best fit for you!

PERFUME: Taylor by Taylor Swift

Price: $20-$59.50

Where to buy it: All major department stores such as Nordstrom, Macy's, Saks, and Bloomingdale's as well as national beauty chains such as Sephora and Ulta.

Taylor Swift’s third scent, named Taylor after the super star herself, seems all grownup. The scent is more sophisticated than expected and in consequence convincing that she is no longer 17, and really is 22. The fragrance is rich and romantic, not sweet and girly. It truly embodies Taylor herself- no longer a clueless teenager, instead a sexy 20-something year old that prefers a night on the town to a night spent in crushing on her dreamy next-door neighbor.

PERFUME: Couture La La by Juicy Couture

Price: $19-$90

Where to buy it: All major department stores such as Nordstrom, Macy's, Saks, and Bloomingdale's as well as national beauty chains such as Sephora and Ulta.

The first thing you will notice about Juicy Couture’s Couture La La scent is the glam bottle that it is housed in. It’s bedazzled design and gem stone-shaped top make it something that you want to show off and put on your desk or dresser. The scent itself was nothing too overpowering or too sweet, and in short- not that bold, yet pleasing.  It was a pleasant scent that could be transition seamlessly between work and play.

PERFUME: Pink Friday NICKI MINAJ Special Edition by Nicki Minaj

Price: $49.00-$59.00

Where to buy it: All major department stores such as Nordstrom, Macy's, Saks, and Bloomingdale's as well as national beauty chains such as Sephora and Ulta.

The first thing that caught my eye when I saw Nicki Minaj’s, new fragrance, Pink Friday, was the unique bottle. It is an actual bust of the pop star herself- pink hair, personalized chain, and all. The fragrance is super sweet and summery, with undertones of vanilla and brown sugar. It doesn’t have the over powering chemical smell that will make you feel faint after wafting too much in, and is more similar to a body spray scent that is pleasant and can be work anywhere.
