Hello there!! My name is Niecee Ford Smith; I am a 45-year-old mother, wife, student and special friend to all who know me. I am married with three children of my own, two sons and a daughter; I also have five beautiful grandchildren whom I love so very much. I enjoy working with students no matter what their needs are. Working at Chilton ISD has been the building block for my success, my job has inspired me to become a better person to give others guidance towards their own successes. I’ve been very fortunate to work in a profession, surrounded by beautiful minds, who are all about making others great. I want to be a professional, who can be an important educator, mentor and/or counselor in the community and in society. I want to help others make this world a better place to live in.
My goal is to become a teacher and/or guidance counselor, that has been my dream. I want to enlighten others with knowledge, just as I have been enlightened myself for many years. I knew I always wanted to work with kids; I just didn’t know what profession I would take on because I enjoy so many different aspects of life. Working in Education has really given me the insight on where I could possibly go in this field. I am positive that I would be a great classroom teacher! I’m all about helping students be the best they can be, while directing their steps to win at life.
I love sports!! You name it and I can certainly relate to it, in some form or fashion. I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, working out and I enjoy watching all levels of football. In my spare time, what little bit I have, I enjoy spending time with my closest friends and family members who make my life such a joy. I am always excited about any new challenges and at this point I don't feel like too much can hold me back from accomplishing my goals. I have enjoyed my journey at GCU and now, I am very eager to start the next chapter in my life. This chapter will become a lifelong journey that I am excited to travel on.
