Mia Lines

Hi there, I'm Mia and I am a second year History student studying at the University of Leeds. I'm most interested in all things popular culture; from social media trends to analysis of film, tv shows and literature, I love to look into what is influencing and shaping mass attention and consumerism. I am also involved with queer history and culture, seeing how early trailblazers and movements can be seen in many parts of society today. I'm an absolute Drag Race fanatic, and I find it fascinating how the show has propelled this queer identity into mainstream culture.
