Kathleen Binder

Kathleen (Kat) Binder is finishing her first year, majoring in journalism and minoring in History. She is a contributing writer for HerCampus.com.

Between trying to explain where she's originally from (a small farming community that no one has heard of), volunteering with the school's newspaper, yearbook, Foot Patrol (the safe-walk program on campus), volunteering with Admissions and recruitment, volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada and now prepping to be an Ice Breaker for the incoming first years during Orientation Week, she leads a hectic life style. If she's not roaming the city, she's probably nerding it up with some Lord of the Rings, or snuggling her fur babies, Molson and Allie. Despite balancing school, extra-curriculars and working, like most university students, she wouldn't change a thing about her life!
