Kaitlyn Inverso

Kaitlyn Inverso is a full-time student at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She is working towards her bachelor’s degree in media and culture, concentrating on strategic communication. She is also earning a minor in linguistics.

Academically, Kaitlyn is a senior and will graduate in May 2021. Kaitlyn’s media classes, such as media technology, mass communication research methods, and intercultural communication have taught her important skills that will be essential in pursuing her future career in social media marketing. She has learned how to communicate professionally and use digital technology to produce content for all social media platforms. Kaitlyn has also earned a spot on the dean’s list for three of her semesters. She joined the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority on campus where she was director of event planning for about a year. As director, Kaitlyn was responsible for planning several events including date parties and formals. She had to contact venues to obtain estimates and booking information. She coordinated transportation to and from events, and processed payments to selected vendors. This role has taught her a lot of responsibility and allowed her to use her communication skills to successfully plan large-scale events with different venues.

Professionally, Kaitlyn is working as the social media manager for Holistic Hemp Extracts, a CBD company. Her role involves creating and publishing content on all social media platforms and using marketing strategies to grow the company and increase sales. In this position, she has learned to optimize what she has been taught from her classes to run a company’s social media. Using her digital technology experience and strategic media skills has allowed her to do this job successfully.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn loves to spend time with her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys taking trips to the beach and going kayaking. Additionally, she loves working out and reading thriller novels.
