When the Swinging Sixties get into your soul...

....they're not gonna let go that easily. At least they didn't for me.
If you are like me and the rock and roll rebellion of the 1960s runs in your veins (though you may not know how it got there), then the movie Pirate Radio is for you. I just saw it yesterday and it rocked my world.

Set in 1966, Pirate Radio is about a pirate rock and roll radio station located on board a ship in England's North Sea. The DJs of Radio Rock blast The Stones, The Who, the Beach Boys and more, much to the dismay of the British government, which has outlawed rock and roll but cannot bust the station because they are at sea. They are a rowdy bunch, portrayed by actors like the fabulous Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, and Rhys Ifans. It's a spirited flick and I highly recommend it, so give it a view as soon as you can! If that's not enough, here's a link to the official trailer--if this doesn't make you want to see the movie, I don't know what will!
