Eyes of Every Color

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Until I discovered this palette, the only eyeshadow in my makeup bag was a light shimmy gold, and a rosy pink. Here is one of the additions to my makeup routine that I don't know how I ever lived without.

The Sephora Collection Color Play Palette II
A $120 value, that costs only $24? It's a steal!

This palette has 36 eye shadows, in gorgeous colors (both matte and shimmery).

I was worried that they might be cheaply made because of the price, but they go on beautifully. The shadows are creamy and glide on super smooth.

Besides the awesome eyeshadows, this palette also includes 12 lip glosses, 3 powder blushes (a light pink, peach, and a reddish brick color), concealer, and a brush for each (lip gloss, shadows, and blush)!
Instead of buying individual shadows in every shade, this kit has every color I could ever want, and actually makes me want to test out those makeup trends on the runway for spring.(www.bellasugar.com/2010-Spring-Hair-Makeup-Trends-5064995)

Another bonus: It's perfect for those crazy themed parties! Honestly, who has those purples and blues from the 80's?

And for those of us who are too scared to test the out-there colors, this website gives you step by step instructions to create the look you want in any color. Seriously.
