ThirdLove Now Offers More Bra Sizes Than Any Other Lingerie Brand & We Are All Here For The ‘Cup-Grade’ TBH

ThirdLove is now one of the most size-inclusive lingerie brands on the market, right now. Probably best known for introducing the world to half-size cups, the company has just added 24 new sizes to its repertoire.

Now the company carries 70 different bra sizes, and its major industry competition’s size offerings cover far less. ThirdLove notes that major companies like Aerie has only 31 sizes and Victoria Secret has 36 sizes. The 24 new sizes will be available in the brands best-selling bra the 24/7 Classic Perfect coverage, with band sizes up to 48 and cup sizes up to H. It will also be available in seven different shades.

ThirdLove is also removing the term plus size to refer to their increase in sizes, according to Huffington Post! Language can have so many different meanings and can make someone feel a certain way, so that’s why the brand is removing the term from their vocabulary.

It’s just a fact that most brands don’t go above a D cup with their lingerie offerings, which mean so many women don’t have a ton of choices for both stylish and supportive bras. Those that do offer bras beyond a D cup often refer to those options as “plus size.”

“Words matter. At ThirdLove, your size is your size. Who are we to tell a woman her size is in a different category from the size of the woman sitting next to her? These kinds of derogatory terms have no place in a company that makes products for women,” the brand’s co-founder Heidi Zak told Bustle.

In 2013, ThirdLove became the first company to offer an IOS bra fitting app that was designed to give women their most accurate sizes in the comfort of their own homes Huffington Post reports. They then moved on to introduce half-cup sizing, to recognize the one in two women who don’t necessarily fall into a standard cup. Before, the only options were to wear a bra that caused overflow or cup gapping.

Trying to find the “right bra size” has always been a struggle for me and many other women, but this size expansion could just solve this major bra conundrum.
