These Adorable Mother-Daughter Fashion Campaigns Starring Yara Shahidi, Aly Raisman & More Will Give You All the Feels

It’s great to see women supporting women on every single day of the year, but it’s especially cool around Mother’s Day when the female bonding feels are already strong. Brands such as Aerie and Tory Burch love to feature inspiring and empowering women in campaigns, so it only makes sense that they would create touching campaigns for Mother’s Day.

We can’t help but get emotional watching Tory Burch’s Mother’s Day 2018 video, which shows Grown-ish star Yara Shahidi’s spending time with her mother, Keri Shahidi. The video features the two women’s everyday interactions and conversations and might remind you of your relationship with an influential woman in your life. Elle reports that the Shahidi family spends Mother’s Day relaxing, eating breakfast and vising a museum – but Keri’s family might make everyone else feel like they need to step up their Mother’s Day game. Last year, they also made custom-made t-shirts for Mother’s Day.

As if the Tory Burch campaign isn’t adorable enough, Keri and Yara are also featured in Aerie’s new campaign. With photos that aren’t retouched and models of different body types, Aerie has focused on keeping their ads real and relatable. The new campaign that features the Aerie Role Models (from the Role Model campaign that launched in January) with their moms takes this a step further. In the photos, Yara Shahidi, Aly Raisman and Iskra Lawrence model the latest Aerie swimwear with their moms.

Raisman testified against disgraced former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. She said that her mom’s support meant a lot to her during that time especially, Glamour reports.

“She always encourages me to speak up when something isn’t right, and is also speaking up publicly as well. I’m proud and appreciative that my mom is so passionate about fixing this disaster that happened. She is helping us put the pieces together,” says Raisman, Glamour reports. According to Shape, Shahidi and Lawrence both say their moms helped them believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.

We love campaigns that support and empower women – and these Mother’s Day campaigns are no exception!
