Target Is Addressing This Ludicrous Nude Underwear Problem & I Am So Happy

Nude shoes and lingerie are a staple in every fashionista’s closet, but finding the perfect nude to match your skin tone has been a struggle for ages. The only brand that is well known for making a variety of nude tones is Christian Louboutin, but we don’t all have $500 for a pair of shoes, thanks a lot. Target has decided to save us all by debuting lingerie in four shades of nude. The colors are dubbed “caramel,” “cocoa,” “mochaccino” and “honey beige.” That’s not all: Target plans to add more shades in the future! This is good news, because skin tones definitely come in more than four variations. Plus, bras start at $10 and underwear at $5. #blessed

Target senior vice-president of apparel and accessories, Michelle Wlazlo, said, “At Target, we know that women come in all shapes, sizes and ethnicities and our assortment needs to reflect their outfitting needs,” she added, “As part of our continued commitment to inclusivity, our team did extensive research to expand our intimate offerings so guests can find the perfect shade of nude to match their skin tone.”

Apparently, Target intends to do the same with nude footwear. I cannot wait! There has been no word on when the shoes will be coming out yet, but HC will keep an eye out for you. Yay Target for acknowledging diversity!
