A little dreaming never hurt anybody though…here is HC’s list of this season’s most desired for all you big spenders — or for us window shoppers who just like to pretend!

1. Alexander McQueen Skull Scarf, $445
Alexander McQueen truly made an impact on the fashion world, from his reinvention of the feminine figure to his ability to create unique and daring pieces with reckless abandon. His skull design, seen on many of his accessories, is so classically McQueen and adds edge to any outfit. Since even just trying on a pair of his armadillo shoes requires an appointment (and let’s be real, they cost more than a month’s rent), if you’ve been inspired by the Met’s McQueen exhibit and are looking for something from the designer’s collection, a black and white scarf might be your best bet since it’ll never go out of style.

HC President, Publisher and Co-founder Windsor Hanger said her vote for this summer’s splurge goes to a pair of Chanel shades. With prices ranging in the hundreds, these sunnies will make you feel like a complete diva, so go big! Your Ray-Bans have the aviator department covered, so try out the new cat-eye shape or the large square-shaped (pictured) shades instead.
