These days, we’re all about athleisure—who doesn’t love a good pair of sneakers or a pair of sweatpants you can pull off in public? But if you think about it, athleisure has been around for longer than you might recall—in the early 2000s, the Juicy Couture tracksuit was at the height of ~cool~. And ready or not, the iconic velour staple of the likes of Paris Hilton and “cool mom” Amy Poehler is gearing up for a major comeback.
With 2016 marking the 21st anniversary of the tracksuit, Juicy Couture is relaunching with a few modern adjustments, like tailored, slim-fit pants, plus a whole new crew of brand ambassadors (no, Paris isn’t among them this time). The campaign, aptly named #TRACKISBACK shows the slew of cool-girl-next-door ambassadors outfitted in different variations of the track jacket and explaining their personal styles—which all vary.
