It’s been less than a day since the President’s “covfefe” tweet, and it has already taken Twitter, and the rest of the internet, by storm. The tweet, which has since been removed, said “Despite the constant negative press covfefe,” leaving people wondering what a covfefe was, and what the president was actually referring to in this vague, unfinished, out-of-context sentence.
Of course, people were quick to meme-ify this latest slip-up, in true millennial fashion. But memes don’t make money (unless you’re @thefatjewish), so creative go-getters had to find another way to profit off of the still-growing trend. “Covfefe” shirts are now available to buy for your (inevitably short-lived) enjoyment.
