Our 8 Favorite Fashion Instagram Videos

A breathtaking sunset, a yummy plate of sushi and those “to die for” Brain Atwood pumps—it’s easy to think of your Instagram account as a public, visual diary. Thanks to the recently added “video” option, the treasured smart phone app makes it that much easier to get a glimpse into our friends, family members and favorite celebrities lives. Since the app is any fashionista’s most valued virtual accessory, we are celebrating the update by sharing our favorite fashion-forward Instagram videos.

1. Leandra Medine’s High Kick

We get a kick out of the Man Repeller for a number of reasons: her fearless ensembles, her LOL writing style and those self-described “Manstagrams,” just to name a few. Luckily, the fashion fixture has embraced the latest update. Though she may not be sporting any of her praised looks, we can’t help but chuckle every time we watch this video.

2. Manhattan, According to the CFDA

While it may look like a scene from a hipster film, this pick artfully shows  followers the CFDA office. Okay, so maybe we didn’t get a full tour; however, no style maven can resist rows of glossies and a rooftop view.

3. A Kiss from Diane

Is this an Instagram video or a new DVF ad campaign? It may not highlight the brands latest threads or Diane’s jet-setting life, this mini film is very…hypnotizing. Translation? We can’t stop watching.

4. A Look at Rag & Bone

Not to play favorites, but everything David Neville and Marcus Wainwright touch is pure perfection. So it’s no surprise that we’re obsessed with this aesthetically pleasing video. To be perfectly honest, we couldn’t help but pressing pause a few too many times to coo over the ultra cool runway looks!

5. Bow Wow at Refinery29

For some trendsetters, there’s nothing like sporting a furry accessory. Don’t call PETA on us—we’re talking about dogs! This too-cute-for-words videos puts a collegiette’s best friend in some canine-approved clothes. Aww!

6. Goofy Before Google

If you take away the designer duds and massive number of fans, our favorite fashionistas are just like us. For example, they love posting goofy videos  on Instagram. Exhibit A: Katherine Power. The Who What Wear co-founder and business partner Hillary Kerr were all smiles before the Google hangout. “Oh, I have to hold this down to record.” So funny!

7. Cara’s Crazy Feet

Cara Delevingne is anything but your typical model. Don’t believe us? Take a gander at her countless advertisement campaigns and magazine covers. If you thought you couldn’t be more envious of Delevingne, it gets worse: she’s funny. Like, really funny. After watching this quirky shoe dance, we can’t help but want to be her new best friend. Plus, those gold tipped kicks are super cool!

8. Midnight in Paris

As Audrey Hepburn once said, “Paris is always a good idea.” With a collegiette’s budget, the chances of spending a weekend in the chic city are pretty slim. Lucky for us, Lanvin’s Instagram acts as a Parisian tour guide. Exhibit A: this video of the latest window installations  on Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore. It feels like we’re there! C’est magnifique
