The 9 Best-Dressed Celebs at Nerd Prom

Nerd Prom, also known as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, has become just another opportunity for our favorite celebs to show off their winning red carpet style. And while SNL funny lady Cecily Strong killed it as the evening’s host, we’re a bit more concerned with discussing the looks we saw from some of Hollywood’s finest. Check out our countdown of the 9 best dressed below.

9. Gina Rodriguez

We can’t help but smile every time we see Gina, and this expertly-fitted rose gown—with the cool exaggerated shoulder detail—is a winner.

8. Sophia Bush

Sophia is channeling a Greek goddess in this draped Monique Lhuillier.

7. Julie Bowen

Julie selects a frequent Princess Kate collaborator with this Jenny Packham midi.

6. Lucy Liu

Naeem Khan’s deep V-neck beaded gown looks like it was made for Lucy.

5. Tracee Ellis Ross

She plays mom on black-ish, but Tracee seems to be channeling her mother (Diana Ross) in this throwback silhouette with its magnificent cape.

4. Chrissy Teigen

We see a lot of Mrs. John Legend on the red carpet, so we didn’t think she could surprise us anymore. Boy were we wrong. The dark hue of both her Zuhair Murad and her makeup, along with the high slit, make this a knockout.

3. Darby Stanchfield

The Scandal beauty had us drooling with this beautifully accented high-low dress. We especially love the contrasting plunging neckline and sweet bow.

2. Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Jenna’s classic black-and-white Reem Acra proves not everything in fashion is new, and we kind of like it that way. She makes classic look oh-so-chic.

1. Laverne Cox

This grey Ines Di Santo gown hugged Laverne’s curves in all the right places, making it one of her best looks to date.

Which of these looks is your favorite, collegiettes?
