5 Celebrities We Wish Would Launch A Fashion Line

Starting a personal line, whether it’s for clothing or shoes or makeup, seems to be the natural progression for celebrities in Hollywood these days. We see their faces broadcast on TV, and soon enough we see them splayed on a perfume bottle in a department store. These five trendsetting celebs, however, have yet to jump on the fashion line bandwagon- but we really wish they woud soon. From the red carpet to the streets, these ladies never fail to dress incredibly well. Until they actually do launch their own fashion lines, we’ll just have to keep admiring their style from afar and attempt to mimic it on our own.

1. Blake Lively

Blake Lively’s style extends far beyond the Gossip Girl set. She capitlizes on bright, popping colors and fun patterns and fabrics to make even the most simple of outfits look stunning. She knows how to accessorize but doesn’t go over the top. She apparently told Refinery 29 in an interview two years ago that she has no plans to start a clothing line and is instead focusing on acting, but we’re going to keep our fingers crossed.

2. Kate Bosworth

Kate has already launched her own jewelry line, JewelMint, but what we really want is for this best dressed star to start designing clothes. She has the laid-back, bohemian look down to a tee, always looking effortlessly put-together even when just wearing slouchy pants, but she clearly knows how to dress up too.

3. Rachel Bilson

When it comes to clothes and fashion, Rachel Bilson can do no wrong. She’s been consistently noted as a fashionable celebrity since her days on the O.C. She keeps it simple, often sticking to jeans with blazers or jackets, so if she were to start her own line we know there would be great casual options for us. She does design shoes for her website and line ShoeMint, but we want more from Bilson!

4. Leighton Meester

Of course the other co-star of Gossip Girl, which features arguably the most fashionable clothes on TV each epsiode, had to make the list. While it’s nearly impossible to live up to Blair Waldorf’s status, Leighton Meester does an impressive job and has become a style icon of her own. She’s mastered the art of adding bold statement pieces to her wardrobe, whether it’s patterened pants or leather cut-outs that look sophisticated, not skanky.

5. Lucy Hale

This Pretty Little Liar knows how to dress, and we’d love to wear her style (and have her defined eyebrows and glowing skin tone too, please). She may be relatively new to the Red Carpet, but Lucy has been working it like a seasoned celebrity. We can’t wait to see what she wears next- and if it’ll ever be a personal design from the line that we’re wishing she’d make.

What do you think, collegiettes? Who do you wish would launch a fashion line?
