For three years now we have asked the guys at Yale why Yale girls are the best? Now, we want to reverse the question and figure out why Yale guys are the best (we also asked for some advice, too). We asked 10 Yale girls to (anonymously) finish these two sentences and these are their answers:
My advice for Yale boys is…
“To talk about themselves less.”
“To actually try to get to know girls better.”
“For athletes: to branch out of just their team and make more friends.”
“To break the Saturday Toads habit.”
“To get to know girls they don’t know already.”
“To work in something more constructive and interesting than finance.”
“To not take classes just because all their friends are in it.”
“To ask girls on dates more.”
“This applies to everyone at Yale: to spend more time at the YUAG and other museums.”
“To not get so stressed about school and enjoy themselves.”
Yale boys are the best because…
“They’re well-mannered and know how to act around parents.”
“They’re from all different places around the country and the world.”
“They know how to balance schoolwork and having fun.”
“Being hardworking isn’t considered uncool.”
“They’re funny.”
“Most of them aren’t too competitive about schoolwork which is really refreshing.”
“They all have an interesting story.”
“They dress well – or at least some of them do…”
“They’re not all alike.”
“They can laugh at themselves sometimes.”
