As the weather is getting cooler, it makes for the perfect climate to go on a run outside. It’s not too hot, but it’s not quite yet the wintry New Haven weather we all dread. Leaves are changing colors, and the sun is shining bright. Here are some top places where you can run!

1. Run to Albertus Magnus College

Albertus Magnus College is close by, located at 700 Prospect Street, in New Haven; it’s about a four mile run, there and back. On the way there, you’ll run up Science Hill, and get to see the beautiful, old houses and buildings that were once part of Yale’s primary campus.

2. Run up the Kline Biology Tower Stairs

For those looking to up the intensity on your workout, try running up the stairs leading up to the Kline Biology Tower. You can do a circuit, adding in some push ups, calf raises, and crunches, and jog in between sets, too!

3. Run to East Rock

You’ve probably already heard about this one. Running to East Rock is great because it’s a longer distance, and you get to run throughout parts of New Haven you otherwise wouldn’t. You get to see cute breakfast shops, neighborhoods, and when you get to East Rock, you get an unbeatable view of the city from the very top.
