Blurryface Live by Twenty One Pilots

This is actually my favorite album I currently own. This was a limited release with three picture discs. It even has a voice recording that plays when you open the cover! Plus, it’s my favorite band so how could it go wrong?

Favorite Song: Medley Mash-up

Low Tides by This Wild Life

The really cool thing about this album is that it’s the exclusive first pre-order printing and that’s also why it’s signed! This Wild Life is a smaller band from back home too, so I think it’s cool how personal this album is.

Favorite Song: Just Yesterday

The Home Inside My Head by Real Friends

Real Friends are probably my favorite vinyls, visually. All of them are so beautiful just like this clear one with black and white marble. This is their most recent album and it’s definitely a great listen.

Favorite Song: Mokena

Cleopatra by The Lumineers

I bought this vinyl at my first Lumineers concert and it has a lot of really good memories with my friend Josh included in it. The Lumineers have such a unique sound that I always catch myself singing along or having their songs stuck in my head. Plus, the story behind the album art is really great!

Favorite song: Angela

More Acoustic Songs by Real Friends

Probably my second favorite record in my collection! This was a very limited pressing vinyl that was sold on one of their tours. I found it on a vinyl marketplace and absolutely freaked out! Not only does it have my favorite Real Friends songs, it’s all acoustic, and is visually gorgeous.

Favorite Song: Island

Divide by Ed Sheeran

The second I heard Ed’s album I knew I had to own it. For me, the art of collecting vinyls comes from the fact that I love an album so much, I want to be able to physically have it my hands. When I listened to this album, I knew I needed to own it right away. As always, Ed has blown me away with his insane talent!

Favorite song: Save Myself

Grand Romantic by Nate Ruess

Nate Ruess was the lead singer of Fun., before they went on hiatus. This is his first solo album and one of the loves of my life. This is the first pressing done in hot pink and comes with a piece of artwork for each song on the album. The package itself is beautiful and Nate’s words are even more lovely.

Favorite song: A Great Big Storm

Lukas Graham by Lukas Graham

I fell in love with this album at the beginning of summer last year and couldn’t find it till this year. It was one of those records I had to run out and buy. Once I found it, I scooped it up. I’m so happy I did because they have such a cool sound and it’s overall a really sick album.

Favorite song: Happy Home

I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It by The 1975

This vinyl came to me as a late birthday present and it was a wonderful surprise. This is definitely a pricer vinyl but I absolutely love it. When this album came out, I was instantly in love and the tour for it was equally as wonderful. The all-white color seems like it would be boring but it’s actually very beautiful having something so pure white.

Favorite song: The Ballad of Me and My Brain

You’re Gonna Miss It All by Modern Baseball

This album was a recent addition to my life and a great one at that. Modern Baseball has such a unique sound of talking/singing that i was instantly drawn to them and this album in particular. They also have a slight folky sound to them that constantly has me singing their songs for hours. The bright yellow vinyl was such a joy to me because yellow is my favorite color. I also have never had a vinyl this bright and happy before!

Favorite Song: Two Good Things

Don’t Panic: It’s Longer Now! By All Time Low

Easily my favorite All Time Low record of all time (see what I did there)! This is the second release of an album called Don’t Panic. The reason for the re-release was for the addition of 4 acoustic songs and as you know, I can’t say no to an acoustic. This version of the album is a limited edition from Hot Topic and I was very pleased to get my hands on it. Maroon was always a color that reminded me of this band so I feel this album is a really accurate representation of All Time Low!

Favorite Song: Backseat Serenade (Acoustic)
