Finals are here…and that means the stress levels on campus are too high! Take a breather and relax while reading about this week’s Campus Celebrity! Elizabeth Athey is a freshman, almost sophomore, here at Wesleyan and she may be able to lower those stress levels and put a smile on your face!

Hometown: Charles Town, WV
Why did you choose Wesleyan: I loved the music program and how small Wesleyan is. Also, Buckhannon reminds me of Charles Town.
What activities are you involved in at Wesleyan: I am in the marching band, and a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha and Sigma Alpha Iota.
Best memory/memory at college: My bid day this semester. I loved getting my bid from ZTA
Favorite Food: Pizza
Hobbies: My hobbies include napping, reading, painting, and playing music.
Future plans: I hope to go to grad school and eventually join an orchestra or teach gender studies.
Dream Job: Getting paid to make the world a better place!

Any advice for your past self: Sometimes you need to do what’s best for you. It’s not selfish, it’s called taking care of yourself.
