Some people think that not having a man in their life and being single is the end of the world, but what is wrong with being single? When you’re single, you get the chance to explore who you really are and find what you would like to do in life. How can you beat that? The freedom is absolutely great instead of relying on your significant other or being told what you can and cannot do.

When you’re single, you get to be yourself (not that you can’t be yourself with a boyfriend). You get to truly explore yourself and find out who you really are. This is difficult to do with a man in life because many actions they take are ones that can end up reflecting upon yourself. Also, any decision you make is solely based upon yourself and no one else. When in a relationship, you have to keep in mind that there is someone else in your life and the decisions you make may also effect them. But being single, you won’t have that problem! You can do whatever you want, when you want, and that is the absolute best feeling.

Being single is all around fun! You get to go out and have a grand time with your girlfriends and not have to worry about a guy in your mind. Flirting with other guys and having fun with them too is also a great time. When you’re in a relationship, boyfriends typically do not like when their girlfriends are talking to random guys when they are out. So, when you are single, take advantage of that! Whether you want to meet more guys for the future or have a fling with someone, now’s the time. Also, dating guys is a fun new experience for coming out a newly ended relationship. You get to explore different types of guys and see which ones really are your type and the kind you would like to keep around or look for in the future.

Social media has become so huge nowadays. It seems like you can’t go anywhere without being connected to it. When in a relationship, you probably keep up-to-date with your significant other’s social media, which causes stress and confusion sometimes. But, without a boyfriend in your life and being single, you no longer have to worry about that at all, which is a great feeling! Also, being in a relationship can be costly. It does not have to be this way, but occasionally couples enjoy going out on dates or getting gifts for one another. But being single, you can treat yourself to gifts and dinners of one and not have to spend the extra cash on someone else. Though many people enjoy getting gifts for others and going on dates, your bank account might not agree on these.

Being in a relationship is absolutely great, don’t get me wrong. But, enjoying the single life is on a whole new level. Being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want has to be one of the best feeling in the world. I have discovered who I personally am in ways that I couldn’t have if I wish in a relationship with someone, and that is an awesome phase of life if you are living the single life.
