The Ultimate Guide to Morgantown Food

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVU chapter.

GOOD FOOD:  the one thing that can put a smile on anyone’s face.  I’ve gathered together some of what Morgantown students and locals have said were their favorite restaurants!

Black Bear

Burritos of all ethnic cuisines! Black bear is a must, and you also must come hungry because it sure is filling. Black bear specializes in providing the best quality for their customers by supplying vegan rice, 100% vegetarian beans, fresh chips daily, and local produce. YUM!

Mario’s Fishbowl

From frosty fishbowls of beer to delicious sandwiches and award- winning chicken wings you have to stop by this joint. Tuesday is all day wing day and you can’t miss out on this one!

Italian Cuisine at its finest is what you’ll find here. Perfect for a date night or just a night out with the girls! Promise you wont be disappointed. Buon Appetito!

In a perfect Irish accented atmosphere I’d like to say Jameson’s pub has got your comfort food needs satisfied! Stop downtown and try some of their delicious options.

Volcano

For some odd reason the variety of sushi options in Morgantown is really lacking. But, thankfully we have one good place to turn to and here it is! If you love some sushi you have to make it here.  Also, if you don’t know which sushi roll to pick go for the West Virginia roll!

Tailpipes

Let’s be real if you’re living in Morgantown right now and haven’t been here head on down for the PERFECT burger or PERFECT shake.

Blue Moose Café

For all you coffee lovers this is a perfect place for you!  One of the only places in town that offers alternatives that are environmentally mindful and health conscious, such as an organic house blend, Swiss water process, decaffeinated coffee, and soymilk. Aside from the coffee there are also some amazing meal options that you can’t pass up!

Pies and Pints
