	WVU Students Plan Morgantown’s First Slutwalkia By Kristina Pellien April 10, 2013 - 10:09pm For anyone unfamiliar with the event Slutwalk, the name itself is enough to stir controversy and raise a few questions. To give some background, the Slutwalk movement began in Toronto on April 3rd, 2011 after a representative of the Toronto Police gave insight into the Force’s view of sexual assault, stating: “women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized.” READ MORE

	Tips on Running By Elizabeth Link February 16, 2013 - 7:38pm I would have never considered myself a runner... and I still don’t exactly now. I think of myself more as a semi-educated athletic person who attempts to run. Recently, I signed up for the Pittsburgh Half Marathon on May 5th of this year. For those of you who don't know, a half marathon is 13.1 miles. Before I began working out at the beginning of the semester, I could barely run more than a mile and a half at a time. So if you’re feeling a little guilty, don’t worry it’s still not too late. Next weekend on February 24th, WVU’s Student Government Association is joining efforts with the Office of Sustainability and hosting a “Clean Up.” Give back to our great school and campus by offering a helping hand in making it a cleaner, more sustainable place.
