HC: Can you share some details with us about Boohoo as a brand? How did you become a part of the Style Squad, and what does your job description entail?

TH: Boohoo is a UK based clothing company that targets women and men ages 15-28. They offer a HUGE selection of clothing and accessories, and release new clothes every week, which I think is amazing. I became part of the Style Squad through Her Campus when I received an email stating that they were looking for a social media/marketing manager and a PR manager. I applied to be the social media/marketing manager because I thought it would be really fun and different than anything I’ve ever done, and I was right. I am in charge of hosting giveaways, promoting Boohoo through social media, and basically spreading information about Boohoo anywhere and everywhere.

HC: As the Social Media/Marketing Manager for the WPUNJ Boohoo Style Squad, what do you love about the Boohoo brand?TH: I love that Boohoo releases new trends every Monday. I think it’s so amazing how fast they can work to put out new items every single week.

HC: Considering all of your commitments and duties, do you have any advice for those just starting out?TH: Do not procrastinate. Last semester I admit I procrastinated a few weeks and had to work like a mad man by the end of the week to make sure I completed all of my duties.

HC: What are your thoughts on campus style here at WPUNJ?TH: I personally love it. I think everyone’s style at WPUNJ is different and unique.

HC: Why did you decide to attend WPUNJ? TH: It was the least expensive school I applied to, and they have an amazing Communications program!

HC: What has been your favorite class at WPUNJ, and why? TH: Surprisingly, my Intro to Philosophy class. I went into this class not knowing a thing about philosophy, thinking it was going to be horrible, but I find every class so interesting. I think it helps that my professor is really nice and that my class likes to speak.

HC: If you were to give your younger-self a piece of advice, what would it be? TH: I would tell my younger self that I am beautiful and I am stronger than any mean thing anyone has/will ever say to me.

HC: We loved the WPUNJ Boohoo Style Squad Fashion Show you guys hosted last semester! Should we be expecting any events coming up?TH: All I’m going to say is the event coming up, in my opinion, will be even better than the fashion show!
