Sweatpants? Sweatpants – the go-to outfit for most college girls on any campus who are either too lazy or who don’t think they’ll have enough time to get ready… or so they think. You shouldn’t be wearing anything with the word “sweat” in it to class; save that for the gym! Although we’ve all had that internal conflict between comfort and class when choosing our outfit for that bright and early 8am, it doesn’t have to be that way! Here are some quick tips to get ready in 20 minutes or less and still feel as comfy as you want to! Time to beat those MC Hammer pants!

1. Opt for jeggings and a classic plain t-shirt to replace those ratty sweats.

They’ll give you that polished yet effortless look that screams “très chic.” And you’ll still get to feel comfy! These AE jeggings could fool just about anyone.

2. This gorgeous hairstyle takes less than 5 minutes and will have you looking like a princess!

All you need is a headband and some hairspray to keep your new do in place!

3. Instead of a full coverage foundation, go with a tinted moisturizer and light mascara!

Not only will it give you a healthy glow, but it won’t leave you with that “caked-on” look after an hour or so! (Aveeno’s tinted moisturizer is one of our personal favorites.)

Some other tips to try:

  • Plan your outfit the night before! It’ll let you sleep in those extra minutes in the morning instead of running around in a panic about throwing something together!
  • Remember: less is more! Save the smokey eyes for night time.
  • Try to avoid sweatpants everyday; that cute boy you occassionally bump into on campus won’t mind the outfit change!
