Fun Facts

Favorite Quote: “It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.”

Dream vacation: A dream vacation for me would be a multi-continent excursion. I’ve got the travel bug! I especially want to go to Paris.

Dream job: This changes, but for the longest time it was to be a vocalist. I still do wish to do that, and my passion is singing, but I switch it up. I also would love a job in media analysis and pop culture critique.

Pet peeve: People who are rude to service workers like waiters and customer service reps.

Celeb crush: Joe Jonas eternally holds that title.

Love Life

First thing you notice about a boy: Hair.

Your most attractive quality: My big heart.

Turn-on:  I like guys who are kind to others and are dreamers.

Turn-off: Misogyny of any kind! I refuse to sit through a date with someone making sexist remarks (or someone that’s rude to our server, for that matter.)

Perfect date: Honestly anything creative or inventive would be great; stargazing and some good food would be sweet. I’m also really into live music, so I would love to go see a cool show.

Best pick-up line: I was taught this one by the cutest English dude when I went to camp in high school, so you would have the person you’re using the pick up line on feel your t-shirt and you would ask, “Do you know what material that is?” and they would respond, “Cotton” or whatever it was.  Then you would answer, “girlfriend material,” or “boyfriend material.” Of course his accent did add quite an amount of charm to his delivery.

Favorites

Song: “Fighter” – Christina Aguilera

Movie: The Little Mermaid, No Reservations, and 13 Going On 30

TV Show: I have no time for TV unfortunately so I’m out of date of what’s playing currently, but some of my past favorites include Sailor Moon, The Carrie Diaries, and Jane By Design.

Book: Born Confused by Tanuja Desai Hidier

Sport: Volleyball and Gymnastics. I’m not into sports, but I do like national events like the Olympics and the World Cup.

Team: I don’t have any favorite teams. I’m honestly a jinx — anyone I root for loses!

Food: Macaroni and Cheese and pizza.

Dessert: I’m actually a dessert connoisseur! I adore French macaroons and traditional ice cream.

Just For Fun

Celebrity Look-a-like: I’ve been told Fergie, not sure how accurate that is.

Choose a super-power: I’ve always thought long and hard on this question until I found the perfect answer that I felt great about; I would choose a healing power. I could help my teammates when they’ve been hurt, I can even heal enemies and that could lead to some character development. I feel it represents me accurately.

Best class you’ve taken at WPUNJ: It was called Sex and Culture when I took it but its now called Sex, Gender and Sexuality, which I feel fits the course best. It was taught by one of my favorite professors, Dr. Kromidas.

Choose three people to have dinner with – one living, one dead, and one fictional: Christina Aguilera, Grace Kelly, and Miss Piggy

The Disney Princess you most relate to and why: I feel I relate most to the red head Disney princesses. I’m like Merida because I believe in my independence, and I’m like Ariel, who is my favorite, because I like adventure, travel, and I’d go above and beyond for love.

Where someone can find you on campus: I’m a sort of nomad on campus, especially with my varying major and minors which have hubs in buildings across campus. But I will share that the Atrium is my favorite; I love to start my day there. If the café were located in the Atrium I would be one happy girl!
