A few tips:
· If you are using a brighter color at the top, there is no need to paint both the second and third color on, it will most likely dull the brightness of your design leaving you to reapply again
· Once you dapped the color on use you top coat to blend out the colors, in my case I used a thin coat of glitter polish
· Invest in a good top coat, it can make or break your design! I recommend Sally Hanson Insta Dry in Clearly Quick
