For all you guys and gals out there looking for dates to take your SO on this winter, look no further! These winter dates are all fun and affordable, and will leave the two of you never wanting to leave.

1) Bake Cookies

Baking with your SO is always an interesting and fun time. Making cookies from scratch are always the best, 1) becuase they taste better, and 2) because you can put flour all over your lover’s face. This will usually end up in a flour war, but it certainly does bring out the fun in baking! Festive cookies are always fun to make around the holiday time, and when all is done you and your SO will have a tasty treat!

2) Make A Gingerbread House

Gingerbread houses are a must during the holidays, and who better to create one with than your SO? You can either get fancy with it and make your own gingerbread house from scratch, or take the easy road and buy the gingerbread house kits (which taste delicious, by the way). This is a fun way to get to know your partner better and wind up with either a delicious treat or a beautiful decoration (or both!) in the end.

3) Decorate

Decorating during the holidays is always a fun time, but decorating with your SO is even better. Putting decorations up for Christmas or Hanukkah while jamming to holiday tunes with your cutie is a blast. Have your boyfriend/girlfriend reach the tall parts of the tree that you cannot reach, and put the angel on top together. After a long day of decorating, snuggle up to each other in front of the fire and appreciate all of the hard work you two put into making your home festive.

4) Have A Movie Day

There’s nothing better than curling up on the couch next to your cutie on a cold winter day. On the days you two don’t feel like doing anything, grab a bunch of your favorite Christmas movies and spend the day watching them while cuddled up on the couch. For all of you that don’t want to spend a lot of money, this is fun, relaxing, and free!

5) Have A Snowball Fight

It’s so nice going outside and getting fresh air, but in the middle of winter I find it too cold to even walk to class. For those days that you want to go outside and play around, snowball fights are the way to go. All of the throwing and running will warm you up in no time, and proving your snowball fighting skills to your SO is the ultimate win.

6) Go Sledding

No matter what age you are, sledding will always be fun. Snuggle up close to your lover on a sled and enjoy the ride together. Sitting close to each other will keep you both warm, and the temporary snuggling on the way down the hill adds a touch of affection.

7) Go Ice Skating

Ice skating is a perfect first date or hundreth date. Whether you can’t skate or your SO is a skating pro, ice skating is a fun date to go on. Not being able to skate is the perfect excuse to hold hands and be close to your cutie. Although falling may happen, this is the perfect date to go on to either get to know somebody better or to simply have some fun with the person you’ve been dating for a while.
