Late November is here and we all know what that means. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is a time of happiness for just about everyone. One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is decorating my room and my house. But, some of us live on campus and have limitation to decorating. Here’s a few ways to spice up your dorm room to make it ready for the holiday season!

1. A Christmas Wreath

This adds that general Christmas warmth when you welcome your friends to your dorm.

2. A Menorah

For those who celebrate Hanukkah, a menorah will remind you of the eight nights of miracles. Disclaimer: You might want to buy an electronic menorah due to your campus’ rules.

3. Mistletoe

Mistletoe is a classic decoration for Christmas! But don’t be caught under the mistletoe with the wrong person!

4. A Mini Christmas Tree

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love Christmas trees! Nothing puts me more into the Christmas spirit than decorating a Christmas tree. Sadly, you can’t fit a 7 foot tall tree into your dorm room, so try buying a fake mini Christmas tree for your desk! Also, try making some cute DIY ornaments with some friends for the tree!

5. Mini Stockings

Something fun you can do with your roommate is surprise each other with mini stockings!

6. And of course, Christmas Lights!

Christmas lights add color and coziness to your dorm room so easily! Disclaimer: Many campus’ dorms do NOT allow string lights, so please check your school’s rules before putting them up!
