When you were 8 years old what did you want to be when you grew up? A children's book illustrator
What is your dream job now? Being a university English professor
Where is your favorite place on campus? The fountains in front of the library--I love to read there!
What is your favorite movie and why? Dirty Dancing, because it's a classic!

What is the biggest/best thing that has ever happened to you? Winning a scholarship for a free ride to
Western and recently, receiving funding offers for English PhD programs.
What is your favorite thing about WMU? The amazing teachers here and the connections I have made.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully finishing up my Doctorate degree and defending a
dissertation!
