Saving Your Tuition One Deal at a Time

We all know about some of the deals around Kalamazoo, like half off at Burdick’s every Sunday and Wednesday or dollar bowling at Holiday Lanes on Tuesdays but did you know you that there are even more deals to be found around town?

Here are eight deals I bet you didn’t know about and should be dying to take advantage of.

1. Olde Peninsula offers a Euchre tournament every Wednesday night with the chance to win a $30 dollar gift card. When playing cards you can also enjoy $2 dollar micro pints and delicious food.

2. Every Monday and Thursday night Climb Kalamazoo has college night that is only $12 or $7 if you have your own equipment. They also offer ladies night on Wednesday with another set of deals.

3. Mega Tanz is offering a one month unlimited tanning special for only $24.99 and other deals like 200 minutes for 29.95, 100 for $15.99, and so on.

4. Auto Value will give students 10 percent off when they show their student I.D. and that can come in handy when your car breaks down or you need new brakes.

5. For a classier Wednesday you can go to the Wine Loft and get ½ off house wines and $3 wells and beer. They also have deals the rest of the week too, like on Thursdays you can get their “Bubbles & Booze” for $5.

6. If you’re looking for a new place to live because your roommate is a slob Hidden Hills is offering $200 off your first month of rent when you sign a lease with them.

7. You can get $10 off your first visit at Modern 3 Salon & Spa. They offer styles, color services, massages, manicures, pedicures, waxing and much more. They also carry a variety of hair care brands.

8. Sick of eating Jimmy Johns day after day? Well on Tuesdays you can get two dubbies for the price of one at Menna’s Joint. That means a hot sandwich and another hot sandwich, that I personally feel fills you up more than Jimmy John’s.
