After hearing about you getting arrested in Lansing for protesting, what is your advice to others about taking action/standing up for what they believe in?

The most important advice I can give to others is that whatever they feel is important enough to stand up for, they need to remain entirely non-violent about it. Live by that law and things change. Besides that, if you choose to break other laws, make sure that it is for a good purpose and if it is, don’t be scared to break them. But realize that change has to start with you. So vote, demonstrate, write letters, and stay current on the issues, but the most important thing is to educate yourself first.
