What is sexy? What is beautiful? What is attractive? After a little research, I am here to present the inside scoop on what the guys on this campus REALLY think of girls’ fashion. Over the next three weeks, I’ll be bringing you valuable information in several areas of style. Take notes!

Say “hello” to the guys. In alphabetical order from left to right and top to bottom, we have Christopher Fong ’12, Kobie Gordon ’12, Benjamin Huffman ’12, Jesse Jordan, ’12, Grayson Orsini ’12, David Schneider ’10, Sta’ Sean ’11, and Tommy Ward ’12.

Let’s begin with our first, and perhaps most important question.

1. What is the first thing you notice about a girl?

“Probably whether they really put effort into getting dressed in the morning. It’s really easy in college to wear sweatpants and hoodies, but it really isn’t that much harder to put on a pair of jeans and a nice shirt.” –Christopher Fong ‘12

“The first thing I notice when I see a girl is definitely her smile. I believe a great smile is worth a million words. A beautiful smile can brighten even my worst days.” – Kobie Gordon ’12

“Overall appearance...How does she present herself? You can tell a lot about a girl this way. But after that I would tend to focus in on her smile and eyes.” –Benjamin Huffman ‘12

“The smile and the eyes- for me, can make it or break it. If a girl has a great smile and eyes that are full of life, it's really captivating” –Jesse Jordan ‘12

“The first thing I notice is her smile, I feel like a smile can tell a lot about someone, like how confident she is or if she's having a good day or not. I find confidence incredibly attractive in a girl.” –Grayson Orsini ‘12

“First thing I notice on a girl is her eyes. Then smile. Then figure.” –David Schneider ’10

“The first thing I notice about a girl is her style of course. Not just what she has on but how she wears her clothes. Her aura and confidence have to match the way she dresses.” –Sta’ Sean ‘11

“I notice the vibes she’s giving off. The way a girl carries herself reveals so much about her. A positive and confident vibe really stands out, in a good way.” –Tommy Ward ‘12

William and Mary ladies, this week let’s put our best smiles forward, strut it with confidence, and make that all-important eye contact. Look out for my next article, where these campus fellas will tell us what they really think about our hair and make-up.

yeah

yeah... appearances are everything. We may wish otherwise, but there is nothing else that tells so much about you as what you wear and how you wear it. Beauty is power. Embrace it.

PS. get to the gym, start working off those 10 pounds you put on during winter (this goes for guys and gals)

O confidence gets you this: and we don't need any more of these on campus...
