After hours turned into days turned into weeks spent in the library, studying, finishing projects and writing final papers, you are finally done. Winter break is time earned for all the bullshitting you have done for the weeks since Thanksgiving break, and the month of no work and cold weather only leaves time for one thing…a Netflix binge. When you’re sitting on your couch at home or perpetually laying in bed, feeling lost without your books or the presence of Memorial Library, open your Netflix account (or your ex-boyfriend’s, which you’re conveniently still logged into) and get lost in hours of these binge-worthy shows.

1.     Friday Night Lights: Most simply because it was the show that I was hooked on over last year’s winter break. If you’re not a fan of football, the hot boys, gorgeous girls, family dynamic and ongoing relationship drama will keep you interested.

2.     Grey’s Anatomy: If you’ve never watched, this is your chance to catch up. If you’re plan is to hibernate, this will definitely help you achieve that. And from the girl that’s most prone to fainting from blood…I survived and so will you.

3.     Orange is the New Black: Although it’s weird in the beginning, it gets better. Combining mystery, comedy and suspense, there is nothing not to like. So like everyone else who’s remotely aware of Netflix’s existence, you should watch it.

4.     Gilmore Girls: My personal favorite. The ultimate feel-good show that lets you see that everyone has problems and they deal with them. I swear you could watch this show over and over again (because I have).

5.     Parks and Recreation: The ridiculousness will keep you entertained. If you hate all your home friends and want a good laugh while you’re bored in bed, watch this.

6.     Scandal: Olivia Pope. That is all.

7.     Breaking Bad: While you’re not doing badass things, you might as well watch people that are.

8.     Mad Men: If you want something a little more intellectual than the rest, this will keep you captivated and involved in each of the character’s lives.

9.     Gossip Girl: Who doesn’t wanna watch the relationship of Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass play out?

10. One Tree Hill: Because this show is a classic that you can never watch too much of.
