Are you a girl with both brains and beauty? Check out the campus cutie this week!
Name: Robbie Heimbruch
Hometown: Franklin, WI
Year: Sophomore
Major: Journalism
Relationship status: Single
What do you look for in a girl? Someone who is smarter than me.
Best Quality: I am very, very loyal to my friends.
What are you involved in on campus? I work for UW-Athletics Video Service. Essentially we provide all digital content for Wisconsin Badgers sports. I’ve always been a video guy and I am a huge sports fan so it’s right where I want to be. I love my job.
What is your dream job? Sideline reporter at the Super Bowl
Coolest/Most epic game you’ve ever covered: The home football game against Nebraska last year. It was freezing out and it began to snow in the third quarter. It was a fantastic game and Melvin Gordon broke a national record five feet in front of me.
Most embarrassing moment on camera: I was not on camera for this, but once I was sitting under the basket filming women’s basketball when one of our players fell on top of me and ended up sitting on my lap.
What’s at the top of your bucket list right now? I want to spend an extended period of time abroad in Northern Europe.
Favorite pastime: Going to State Street Brats and hanging outside with my friends. Either that or making beer. My family makes our own beer and wine. In another life I would drop out of college and open up a small microbrewery.
Guilty pleasure: When I was younger my sister forced me to watch Gilmore Girls with her. I now watch it voluntarily and I can’t believe I just admitted that.
Worst fear: A 9-5 boring desk job.
Favorite song at the moment: “Hard-Wired” by Shakey Graves
How do you feel about being this week’s campus cutie? A spectrum that ranges from confused to happy to honored.
