Walking around campus, you can see what organization or foundations students support just by looking at their clothes, usually shirts and sweatshirts, or by their accessories, such as water bottles and bracelets. There are so many different ones I have personally seen, so here is a breakdown of some of the popular ones you may have seen here at WSU or just scrolling through social media.
If you see something with an elephant on it, it is probably Ivory Ella. Ivory Ella donates 10% of their profits to save the elephants (and other charity organizations). They have super cute items, so if you love elephants, this is a place to check out! (P.S. I have one of these shirts and it is one of my faves. <3)
Happy Earth’s slogan is “clothes for conservation” but they have so much more than just clothes. One of my friends got a shirt from this place and she really loves it. After she told me about it, I checked out the website and learned a lot about their cause (they donate 50% of their profits to conservation and sustainability) and even more about how to help the Earth.
I don’t have any of these bracelets, but Wanderer Bracelets kept popping up on my Instagram feed so I decided to check them out. These bracelets look pretty cool; my favorite one is where you can customize it for a location by having the coordinates engraved. These bracelets are handmade by people in Bali, which helps those people to have a reliable job and a steady income.
Here are a couple of organizations that we have written about in the past:
Love Your Melon is an organization that was founded in Minnesota. Its goal is to put a hat on the head of every child that is battling cancer. 50% of their profits go to the fight against pediatric cancer.

Pura Vida is a company that sells unique bracelets that are handmade in Costa Rica. These bracelets provide over 150 artisans a steady job and income. Pura Vida has teamed up with various charities and organizations such as Alzheimer’s Awareness and Autism Speaks to make bracelets and some of the profits from those bracelets go to that organization.

There are so many other organizations that give back–what’s your favorite one to support?
