Easy Detox Water Recipes to Get You Ready for that Summer Body

There has been a lot of hype around detox water lately. Not only are the various water recipes packed with vitamins, but they also help flush toxins for a flat tummy in time for summer! Detox water is any infused water recipe that helps flush your system of toxins and improves your health. It’s a yummy twist to plain water or simple infused waters like lemon water.

For all of these recipes, the ingredients are supposed to be placed at the bottom of a pitcher of water with ice and left to steep in the fridge for one hour before consuming.

This drink has lots of Vitamin C which helps fight inflammation and improves skin tone! Lemon is also great for boosting your immune system. Slim Down Detox Water

  • ½ gallon purified water

  • ½ lemon, sliced

  • ½ lime, sliced

  • ½ grapefruit, sliced

  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced

 

This is so yummy and full of antioxidants! The combination of watermelon and strawberry is the perfect go-to summer drink. Watermelon Strawberry Mint Detox Water

  • 4 cups watermelon in ½-inch cubes, lightly mashed

  • 1/2 pint strawberries, sliced in half

  • 6 sprigs mint (lightly crushed)

 

When it comes to natural cleanses and losing weight, apple cider vinegar has been a huge craze this past year. A few benefits of apple cider vinegar include antioxidant properties, better nutrient absorption, aiding in weight loss, and promoting healthy cholesterol. Apple Cider Vinegar and Water

  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

  • 1 lime

  • 1 lemon

 

This green tea water is full of antioxidants that help rid your body of free radicals, while the strawberries and lemon are packed with Vitamin C! Detox Green Tea (Makes 1 serving)

  • 1 green tea bag

  • 1 slice lemon

  • 1 tsp. honey or stevia

  • 2 strawberries, sliced

  • 2 slices cucumber
