TV Shows To Binge Watch This Reading Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Western chapter.

Looking to not read during reading week? If you’re done catching up on some Zzzs and are looking for something to do that involves being a hermit and really relaxing this reading week, here are the top shows to binge watch!

1. “Friends”

Friends is a classic that has all 10 seasons on Netflix. No matter how many times you’ve seen this one it never gets old.

2. “This is Us”

Although there are only 14 episodes to date, it’s an amazing 14 episodes to watch. This show will give you all the feels you could possibly imagine and MORE.

3. “Game of Thrones”

This one is for those more interested in mythical stories. Each episode is an hour long and there are six long seasons—I will be very impressed if you make it through all of these.

4. “Grey’s Anatomy”

You can never go wrong with Grey’s Anatomy. Even though there are new episodes every Thursday, you can always turn back the time and reunite with some of your favourite characters— including Derek.

5. “Gilmore Girls”

If you’re looking for a feel good, light and happy show, this one’s for you. The mother-daughter duo makes you want to have your own daughter now so you can have that same close relationship.

6. “The Bachelor”

Although I normally wouldn’t recommend reality TV, this one is too good. Nick, the current Bachelor, is so dreamy. So why not watch him try to find love while laughing at all the stupid things these women do to impress him?

7. “Black Mirror”

If you want a show that really makes you say “what the f*ck,” this show is definitely for you. Each episode is a different storyline, but all amongst the same idea of the future of technology. You won’t be disappointed.
